PREP IS EVERYTHING

Cabinet Painters Who Do the Prep Right

A lasting cabinet finish is decided before the first coat goes on. We remove and label every door, protect your counters and floors, and degrease, sand, and prime every surface before we spray.

1

Doors and drawers come off and get labeled

Every door and drawer front is numbered so it goes back exactly where it came from, with hinges adjusted on reinstall.

2

Degreased, sanded, and bonding-primed

Kitchen grease and old finish are why cabinet paint peels. We remove both, then prime with a bonding primer so the enamel holds for years.

3

Sprayed, cured, and reinstalled

Doors and drawer fronts are sprayed in a controlled setup for a smooth, even finish, then cured, reinstalled, and walked through with you.

HOW IT WORKS

Our Cabinet Refinishing Process

1

Walkthrough & written quote

We count doors and drawer fronts, check the current finish and condition, talk through color and sheen, and confirm how long your kitchen can be out of use before preparing the scope.

2

Remove, protect & prep

Doors and drawers come off and are labeled so everything goes back where it belongs. Counters, floors, and appliances are masked. Every surface is degreased, sanded, filled, and primed with a bonding primer.

3

Spray, reinstall & final walkthrough

Doors and drawer fronts are sprayed in a controlled setup for a smooth, brush-mark-free finish; boxes are finished in place. We cure, reinstall, adjust hinges, and walk the kitchen with you before we leave.

CLEAR PLANNING

What Affects Cabinet Painting Cost?

Bathroom Vanity or Small Kitchen

Vanities, laundry cabinets, and compact kitchens with roughly 10–20 doors and drawers. Often finished in 2–3 days.

Cabinet painting prices depend on the number of doors and drawer fronts, the current finish (stained oak with heavy grain takes more prep than a smooth painted surface), how big the color change is, whether you want an island or two-tone layout, and add-ons like new hardware or soft-close hinges. Most kitchens cost a fraction of what replacement or refacing would.

Standard Kitchen

Most Atlanta kitchens — roughly 25–40 doors and drawer fronts, uppers and lowers, one color. Typically 4–6 working days start to finish.

Large Kitchen, Island & Pantry

Bigger layouts, islands, pantries, two-tone schemes, or matching built-ins elsewhere in the home. Scheduled in phases so you keep use of part of the kitchen.

THE RIGHT FINISH FOR YOUR CABINETS

Cabinet Finishes Made Simple

Sheen affects how your cabinets look, how they clean, and how well they hide wear. We bring physical samples to the walkthrough so you see color and sheen on your actual doors.

Satin Enamel

The most popular cabinet sheen — a soft, low-glare finish that hides minor imperfections and wipes clean. Our default for most kitchens.

Semi-Gloss Enamel

A slightly higher shine that's easier to scrub. Good for busy family kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms.

Sprayed vs. Brushed

We spray doors, drawers, and boxes for the smoothest, most even finish. Brushing is used only for small touch-ups you'd never notice.

Color Direction

Whites and warm off-whites are the most requested. Greige, sage, and navy are popular for islands and lower cabinets.

SEE THE DIFFERENCE

Occupied Family Kitchens

We sequence the work so you keep a working sink and fridge, and most kitchens are back in full use within days, not weeks.

Pre-Listing & Flips

A fresh cabinet finish is one of the highest-return updates before listing. Neutral colors, fast turnaround, photo-ready results.

Rental & Investor Properties

Durable enamel that stands up to tenant turnover, at a cost that makes sense for a rental budget.

Cabinets + Walls Together

Many clients pair cabinet refinishing with a kitchen or whole-home repaint. One crew, one schedule, one written scope.
